Furniture & Accessories at Chigborough Barns
Originally opened early 2006 the name Terajola comes from our four family members Terry, Rachel Josh and Lauren (note the first 2 letters of each of our names).
Now set in the coastal town of Heybridge, maldon Essex with stunning countryside views. When you arrive at Chigbourough Barns you will find a large courtyard area with plenty of free parking as well as overflow carparks opposite, next to the lakes.
Terajola's licensed Tearooms welcomes you with a gorgeous covered patio area surrounded in grapevines with outdoor seating so you can relax and admire the wonderful views across the lakes. Open the door into the very cosy Tearoom with all the original beams and character which you are sure to be delighted with. Wander over to Terajola's furniture, gifts and accessories barn within the courtyard where we pride ourselves in offering all our customers, old and new, a warm family welcome to browse at your leisure at what is better know as our Aladdins cave!
Chigbourough Barns Farmer's Market
Our next market will be on Sunday 12th May 9.30am - 5pm with a large range of quality local produce. We will also be having an all day BBQ alongside our Licensed Tearoom.
A Carefully Chosen Selection of Furniture, Gifts & Accessories
We offer as much as possible in the way of vintage, shabby chic and rustic styles with a French feel of furniture, gifts and accessories that are carefully chosen by all of us to make sure there is a good selection for every taste.
We hold many catalogues for our customers to browse and pride ourselves on quick delivery turnaround. Satisfaction is our main aim.
When you arrive at Chigborough Barns you will find a newer, fresher Terajola with our popular items of furniture from the Chatsworth armchair to The Granary Dining set, with a good selection of unusual and querky pieces for the home.
We also hold a huge range of Alex Clark cards and wrapping papers, hearts in all different styles and colours (we are mad on hearts!), vintage cake cases, kitchenalia, egg holders, jars, tins, tableware, wine holders, chalkboards and metal signs to make you giggle, Wax Lyrical reed diffusers in many gorgeous fragrances, marble art from the south of France, photo frames and a large selection of our popular recycled plastic sandwich bags and large holdalls in many different designs.
Opening hours Tuesday-Sunday 9.30am ~ 5pm CLOSED MONDAYS (except bank holidays). Why not try a spot of fishing whilst you are here, snacks on the lakes available and delivered straight to your fishing spot!
Terajola on the Road
We also travel up and down the country throughout the year exhibiting at many craft and country shows where we take a huge marquee and fill it with a mini Terajola on the road! This has proved highly successful for us so if you would like to follow our movements join us on Twitter where we update regular events.
